About me

Rebecca Grushkin is a recent graduate of American University where she doubled majored in Film & Media Arts and Women's, Gender & Sexuality Studies. Most recently Rebecca interned at Story House Productions where she assisted in the development of projects. In her last semester as an undergrad, Rebecca worked at WAMU 88.5 as an dean's intern for the School of Communcations. In the past she has interned at Discovery Channel where she worked in the Digital Content department and at the non-profit Helping Individual Prostitutes Survive (HIPS). Rebecca also interned at Afterhours Productions, a division of Gigantic Pictures in NYC. Rebecca has a passion for photography and writing as well as a deep interest in women's advocacy issues. During her time as an undergrad, Rebecca acted as the social chair for her professional cinema fraternity, Delta Kappa Alpha, DJed her own radio show on http://www.wvau.org and acted as a contributing writer for American University's chapter of Her Campus.
